This Privacy Policy describes how Softwarelabs collects, uses and protects the personal data of visitors to the website available at softwarelabs.pl. This document has been prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The controller of personal data is Softwarelabs Maciej Nuzia, ul. Kordiana 33/15, 30-653 Kraków, Poland, VAT ID (NIP): 7371988386 (sole proprietorship). For matters related to data processing, contact: kontakt@softwarelabs.pl.
2. Scope of data collected
The website is informational (a company landing page) and does not require creating an account. We may process:
- Contact data – if you email us at the address provided, we process your email address and the content of your message.
- Technical data – IP address, browser type, operating system and server logs, collected automatically to ensure the security and proper functioning of the site.
- Analytics data – information about how you use the site, collected by Google Analytics, only after you give consent in the cookie banner.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to inquiries and contact – Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract and the legitimate interest of the controller).
- Security and operation of the site – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest of the controller).
- Traffic analytics – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent given in the cookie banner).
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
The website uses cookies divided into categories: necessary and analytics. Necessary cookies are required for the site to function and do not require consent. Analytics cookies are activated only after consent is given in the cookie banner.
For analytics we use Google Analytics 4 together with Google Consent Mode v2 – no analytics cookies are stored until consent is given. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking in the site footer.
5. Data recipients
To run the website we use trusted providers who may process data on our behalf:
- Hosting provider – storing and serving the website and server logs;
- Google LLC – Google Analytics (traffic statistics, after consent).
6. Retention period
- Email correspondence – for as long as necessary to handle the matter and for the period of limitation of any claims.
- Technical and security logs – up to 12 months.
- Cookie data – according to each cookie's individual lifetime (maximum 365 days).
7. Your rights
You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to kontakt@softwarelabs.pl.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).
8. Data transfers outside the EEA
Some providers (e.g. Google) may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area (mainly in the USA). Transfers are carried out on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and additional safeguards.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website or to the law. The current publication date is shown at the top of the document.
